About the Brand:

When Dirt Queen SF saw Dirt Bag Beauty - it was love at first sight. A woman-owned business out of Southern California - they have an extremely sweet and incredible story. They provide simple products with simple, ethically sourced ingredients - with eco-friendly packaging.

Their founder is a survivor of domestic violence - with the help of good samaritans she was able to flee her situation. During the healing process, she and her daughters were having a spa night and Dirt Bag Beauty was born.

They named their new company Dirt Bag® Beauty because not only did it suit the product, which uses a dry blend of ingredients analogous to dirt, but also as a reminder that good things can come out of some very bad circumstances.

As a female-owned business, they've taken a pledge to help build awareness of Domestic Violence by sharing their story - they help encourage others to seek out help. In addition, a percentage of Dirt Bag Beauty proceeds are donated to Domestic Violence shelters in California.
